Born an Engineer

Bryan was born an Engineer. If you are familiar with Dilbert and "The Knack", you will know exactly what that means.

Engineers are hard-wired with a strong need to understand how the world works, and typically, a left-brain dominance that gives them the analytical ability to fulfill their need.

That has certainly been true for Bryan and he has applied his natural abilities to a wide range of interests over the years: Engineer, Technical analyst, Swing trader, Precious metals Investor, Proprietary trader, Portfolio manager.

Bryan has a passion for the Financial markets and enjoys all aspects of Investment management.

Swing trading and Investing

Bryan became interested in trading the Financial markets after attending a get-rich-quick seminar about Automated trading software.

Although he knew almost nothing about trading at the time, he did know how to recognize and walk away from people selling Snake oil.

The seminar piqued Bryan’s interest, however, and over the next few years he:

⦁ absorbed innumerable books about how to trade

⦁ attended numerous online and live courses on trading

⦁ attempted to Swing trade and Day trade profitably

⦁ developed and tested Automated trading strategies

⦁ donated money to the markets repeatedly

Learning how to use Andrews Pitchfork from Timothy Morge marked the turning point in Bryan’s path to consistent profitability as a Trader.

Over subsequent years Bryan enhanced his trading success by adding Fibonacci tools and elements of Elliott Wave principle to the elegant simplicity of Andrews Pitchfork strategy.

Satori Traders LLC

Satori Traders is a market education platform built around one idea: the analytical process should be fully visible.

Most services give you a direction and ask you to trust it. We give you the indicator conditions, the chart context, and the reasoning — then you decide what to do with it. Every notification, every outcome, and every decision is on the public record.

Subscriber notifications describe indicator conditions and provide chart context. They are not trade recommendations, financial advice, or instructions to buy or sell any security.

What you do with the information is entirely your own decision. That's the point.

This platform is for traders who want to:

  • Understand the mechanics behind a systematic approach
  • Evaluate indicator logic for themselves
  • Build confidence in a repeatable analytical process
  • Study a public track record across different market conditions

This platform is not for traders who want:

  • Automated copy-trading with no thinking required
  • Guaranteed returns or income promises
  • Hot picks across multiple tickers every day

The focus: Systematic Trading Systems

Systematic trading systems are rule-based trading frameworks that make decisions from predefined logic instead of discretionary judgment.

A systematic system typically defines entry rules, exit rules, position sizing, and risk controls in advance, then applies them consistently.

The main advantages are consistency, repeatability, and the ability to backtest ideas on historical data before risking capital. These systematic trading systems also reduce emotional decision-making and make risk controls more explicit, which is especially valuable in leveraged or fast-moving markets.
